SSC test suspended in Chuadanga over alleged question leak

The Bangla first paper test examination for 2027 SSC candidates at Chuadanga Government Girls’ High School was suspended on Monday following allegations that the question paper had been leaked and sold for Tk 1,500.
Sources said that the question paper had allegedly been leaked through Jony Photocopy, a shop opposite the deputy commissioner’s office.

Assistant commissioner Mirza Shahidul Islam raided the shop after learning about the incident and found evidence of the leak.

Chuadanga deputy commissioner Lutfun Nahar formed a three-member committee, headed by additional deputy commissioner for Education and ICT ABM Khalid Hossain Siddiqui, to investigate the incident. The committee has been asked to submit its report within three working days.
Lutfun Nahar, who is also the school’s president, visited the institution and discussed the matter with teachers. She said that members of the school’s examination committee would be served show-cause notices and that legal action would be taken against those found involved in the leak.

Headteacher Sheikh Rezaul Karim said that the suspended examination would be held on Saturday, October 31. The administration was working to identify those responsible, he said, adding that legal action would be taken against any teacher found involved.
